Commissioner Reardon Announces Partnership With Resorts World Catskills To Help Fill Hundreds of Jobs in Monticello

New Resort Casino Will Bring 500-700 Jobs Opportunities to Monticello
Resorts World Catskills, in Conjunction with the New York State Department of Labor, Will Host Two Large Recruitment Events

New York State Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon today announced that the New York State Department of Labor will partner with Resorts World Catskills to help fill between 500 and 700 new jobs in Monticello. The new resort casino, in conjunction with the Department of Labor, will host a two large recruitment events; on January 17 & January 24.

  • January 17 – Wednesday from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Holiday Inn, 68 Crystal Run Road, Middletown, N.Y. 10941; and
  • January 24 – Wednesday from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Courtyard by Marriot, 24 Crystal Run Crossing, Middletown, N.Y. 10941

The New York State Department of Labor is pleased to be able to connect talented jobseekers with new employment opportunities at this exciting new location,” said State Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon. “I strongly encourage any job seeker in the region with interest in one of these positions to come to our event and learn more about Resorts World Catskills.”

During the event, business representatives will be conducting on-site interviews to fill the following positions:

  • Housekeeping Room Attendant
  • Environmental Services – cleaner, housekeeping etc.
  • Cooks
  • Servers
  • Cocktail Servers
  • Bartenders
  • Stewards
  • Cage Cashiers
  • Security

In addition to competitive wages, the Resorts World Catskills benefit package includes 401K match, dental & vision coverage, paid time off, life insurance, subsidized meals and on-site parking.
