As part of Governor Cuomo’s Adventure NY initiative, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) will unveil new public access improvements at North South Lake Campground.

Who:   DEC Acting Chief of Staff Julie Tighe and DEC Regional Director Keith Goertz will
            be joined by state and local elected officials and community partners.

What:   Ribbon cutting to unveil improvements at North South Lake Campground
             A guided, quarter mile hike to the site of the former Catskill Mt. House will follow
             the ceremony.

When:   Wednesday, August 16, 10:30 a.m.

Where:  South Lake Beach, North South Lake campground, town of Hunter, Greene
              County

• Take NYS Thruway South to exit 21
• Turn left onto Main St.
• Merge onto NY-23 W, go 4.3 miles
• Turn left onto Ross Ruland Rd, go 1.3 miles
• Turn left onto NY-32 S, go 4.9 miles
