Unveiling of the Cottages at Sampson

Who:              Rose Harvey, Commissioner, Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation

What:             State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey will provide a tour and first look at the new Cottages at Sampson located directly on Seneca Lake.

State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey welcomes community leaders and the media for a first look inside the new high quality and affordable “Cottages at Sampson” inside Sampson State Park on the shores of Seneca Lake. Commissioner Harvey will also announce when the cottages will be available for rent and a community open house that will welcome all to visit and tour the new accommodations.

The announcements are part of Governor Cuomo’s Finger Lakes Forward and NY Parks 2020 initiatives. Finger Lakes Forward is the Governor’s comprehensive blueprint to generate robust economic growth and community development. NY Parks 2020 is a multi-year commitment to leverage $900 million in private and public funding for State Parks through 2020.
