The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), along with government and community partners, will hold an announcement on significant milestones for the Adirondack Rail Trail.

When: Monday, Aug. 26, 11:30 a.m.

Where: Adirondack Rail Trail Junction at Little Green Pond Road 44°21'14.5"N 74°17'31.8"W

Directions: Event location is off of Route 30 in Saranac Lake, follow Fish Hatchery Road to gravel road pull-off labeled Little Green Pond Road on street sign. Additional parking available at Station Road or Little Clear Pond Boat Launch Parking Area.

Additional Photo Opportunity: After announcement, attendees are welcome to join DEC for a bike ride on a newly opened portion of the trail. Please bring your own bike if participating.
