SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The New York Lottery today confirmed that a jackpot-winning ticket for the November 4 Mega Millions drawing was purchased at the Valero gas station at 2580 Route 302 in Middletown. This sole winning ticket – purchased as a Quick Pick – is worth $326 million. The ticket is worth more than the announced jackpot of $321 million due to the increased sales nationwide.

 The winning numbers for the November 4 Mega Millions drawing were 09 – 15 – 24 – 39 – 41 and Mega Ball 01.

“Whoever purchased this ticket is about to have their life changed forever,” said Gardner Gurney, Acting Director of the Division of the Lottery. “Whoever and wherever you are: sign the back of your ticket and keep it in a safe place, and when you’re ready to claim, we look forward to meeting you.”

The Valero gas station store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its role in selling the jackpot-winning Mega Millions ticket.

The winner may claim the ticket at any one of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Lottery’s Fishkill office at 18 Westage Business Center, Hudson Valley Towne Center, Suite 6, Fishkill, NY 12524. To learn more about how to redeem a prize, click here.

 About the New York Lottery

The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.17 billion in fiscal year 2013-2014 to help support education in New York State.  The Lottery’s contribution represents 15 percent of total state education aid to local school districts.

New York Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts by the same statutory formula used to distribute other state aid to education.  It takes into account both a school district’s size and its income level; larger, lower-income school districts receive proportionately larger shares of Lottery school funding.
