RFK Bridge Lane Closures on the Bronx Toll Plaza for Roadway Reconstruction

Starting from February 23, 2017, a new traffic pattern will be in place at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge in the southbound direction (toward Queens) after the Bronx toll plaza. The change will accommodate a work zone where two south bound toll lanes will be closed for roadway reconstruction.

The new pattern does not involve loss of lane capacity on the bridge itself, however motorists are advised to allow additional travel time, or consider using an alternate route.

Motorists can sign up for MTA e-mail or text alerts at www.mta.info and check the Bridges and Tunnels homepage or Facebook page for the latest information on this planned work.
