Lieutenant Governor and State Parks Commissioner Make Key Announcements Involving New Tourism Center to be Built in Downtown Auburn

What:             Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul and State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey will announce a significant investment, unveil the latest designs and reveal the name of the Tourism Center to be constructed in Downtown Auburn.

When:            1:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2017

Where:          25 South Street, Auburn (Event to be held in the parking lot adjacent to the Seward House Museum)

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul and State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey welcome the community and its leaders to celebrate key announcements regarding a new Tourism Center to be built that will emphasize New York’s progressive history of promoting equality and fairness while encouraging tourism at the regions many attractions and destinations. A tour of the Seward House Museum next door will take place following the ceremony.

The announcement is part of Governor Cuomo’s Central NY Rising initiative, the regions comprehensive blueprint to generate robust economic growth and community development.
