Columbia County Woman Wins $1M Jackpot on Holiday Lucky X50 Scratch-off Ticket

Pamela Miles of Ancramdale is Columbia County’s newest Lottery millionaire.  Miles won her $1 million jackpot prize on a Holiday Lucky X50 scratch-off ticket. 

 

“It feels so good to win a Lottery jackpot,” said Burns.  “I was lucky on the right ticket.”

 

Miles purchased her winning ticket at J’s Millerton Market/Gulf Express on Route 44 in Millerton.  She will receive her prize as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $671,800 after required withholdings.

 

“I plan to use the money to pay off my bills, go on a vacation and put some into savings,” she explained.

 

As of this writing there are two outstanding top prizes available on the Holiday Lucky X50 ticket. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery Scratch-off game by clicking the Instant Games Reports link at nylottery.ny.gov.

 

Miles was the 115th New York Lottery player to claim a prize totaling $1 million or more in 2019.

 

The New York Lottery contributed $5,911,581 in Lottery Aid to Education to school districts in Columbia County during fiscal year 2018-2019.
