Commissioner Jeanette Moy today announced that the following 20 businesses were recently certified by the New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development.
The newly certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs) are:
- CW Snow Plowing, located in Cheektowaga, NY, provides snow plowing and landscaping services.
- BlueFire Group, located in Astoria, NY, is an IT consultant.
- O.G. NY Home Improvement, located in New York City, is a general contractor.
- Next Step Contracting Services, located in Randolph, NY, specializes in footwear and safety equipment.
- Pro Properties WNY, located in Holland, NY, is a residential real estate company.
- Stonewall Defense, located in Troy, NY, provides computer systems design services.
- Brite Works, located in North Medford, NY, provides IT services.
- Aquia, located in Millsboro, DE, specializes in IT and cybersecurity solutions.
- Mark Duffy Commercial Diving, located in Clarklake, MI, is an underwater construction company.
- Campbell Consulting Services, located in Tallahassee, FL, specializes in IT consulting and services.
- Action Tactical Solutions, located in Rochester, NY, provides firearm training and repair.
- Logos BZ, located in Chicago, IL, is a project management firm.
- Trueveteran Consulting, located in Marietta, GA, provides administrative and general management consulting services.
- HorizonTek, located in Huntington, NY, is a computer data and storage reseller.
- Testament Realty, located in Brooklyn, NY, is a firm of real estate agents and brokers.
- Hamilton Tech Company, located in Pennellville, NY, specializes in IT design and consulting.
- Combat Vet Towing, located in Lake View, NY, provides vehicle towing services.
- TrueValor Solutions, located in New York City, is a floor restoration and installation company.
- Safety Consulting & Compliance, located in Hauppauge, NY, is an occupational safety consulting firm.
- Gloeggler Engineering, located in Long Beach, NY, provides engineering services.
The OGS Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development was created in May 2014 through the enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. There are 1,258 certified businesses.
The Act promotes and encourages the participation of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services, and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
