LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (Jan. 9, 2019) --- The 2019 International Children’s Winter Games continued today, Wednesday, Jan. 9, in Lake Placid, N.Y. There were plenty of medals awarded in the eight sports in which the more than 450 athletes from 33 cities and 14 countries, competed. While in the two-time Olympic village, these athletes, ages 12-15, are competing on Lake Placid’s Olympic venues in the sports of alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, biathlon, long track speed skating, figure skating, and hockey. The competitions conclude tomorrow Thursday, Jan. 10. Complete results from the eighth International Children’s Winter Games can be found by visiting LakePlacid2019.com/sports. Results are listed under each individual sport.
