"After the Supreme Court issued its ruling on the citizenship question last week, we called on the Trump Administration to immediately abandon its desire to weaponize the census process and instead focus on their constitutional obligation to count every person across the country. Today we are glad to hear the administration has decided to proceed without the citizenship question. But our work is not done. On behalf of the entire Commission, we will work to achieve a fair and complete count of all New Yorkers."
