Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following seven businesses were recently certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

• Essential Security Systems Inc., located in Kings Park, NY, installs security systems.
• QA Lead Environmental Inc., located in Jamaica, NY, is an environmental consultant.
• Hemp Farms LLC, located in Rego Park, NY, specializes in the cultivation of consumables.
• Ad Alta Industries LLC, located in Kingston, NY, provides remediation services.
• McClean Photography LLC, located in San Diego, CA, is a reseller of wall art and decor.
• M&S Fire Protection LLC, located in Canastota, NY, specializes in fire safety and prevention services.
• GROM Contractors LLC, located in Lindenhurst, NY, provides interior renovation services.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. There are 869 certified businesses. 

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
