“The hard work and commitment of the Opioid Settlement Fund Advisory Board culminated today with release of their final report.  We applaud them for their thoughtful deliberation and commitment, which resulted in the recommendations put forward.  We will continue to work with our partners in the state legislature and local governments to get these funds to the many community-based organizations on the frontlines of addressing the opioid epidemic. In addition, we would like to thank Governor Hochul for her ongoing commitment toward addressing the opioid crisis and the Attorney General’s Office for reaching the landmark settlements holding opioid manufacturers and distributors accountable for the suffering they have caused."
