State Agriculture Commissioner Darrel J. Aubertine today announced the following event that will be coming soon to the New York State Fairgrounds.

Beginning Thursday, Feb. 28 and continuing through Sunday, March 3 the RV and Camping Show and Sale returns to the Fairgrounds for its 43^rd year. Three buildings: the Center of Progress Building, the Horticulture Building and the Exhibit Center will hold over 600 campers from seven dealers. A free shuttle will be available for transportation between the buildings.

Besides all the new 2013 RV’s and family camping opportunities, select pre-owned RV’s, parts and accessories, RV services, information on campgrounds and destinations, and children’s activities will be available at the show.

Admission is $10 for adults while attendees 16 and younger are admitted for free.  Event hours are 12 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 3. Apart from the annual New York State Fair, the Fairgrounds host dozens of agricultural events throughout the year, including some of the Northeast's most prestigious horse and livestock shows.

The Fairgrounds, home of the Great New York State Fair, is a 375-acre exhibit and entertainment complex that operates year round. A year-round schedule of Fairgrounds events is available on the Fair's website.
