Highland, NY (November 3, 2022) - Rondout Electric, Inc. will conduct a recruitment from January 3, 2023 through January 17, 2023 for three Electrician apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today.

Applications can be obtained and submitted at Rondout Electric, Inc., 225 Upper North Road, Highland, NY 12528, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, during the recruitment period (excluding January 16, 2023). All applications must be received by no later than January 17, 2023.

The program sponsor requires that applicants:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma (such as TASC or GED).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.  Apprentices may be required to operate company vehicles on public roads.
• Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work and required classes at the approved school.
