Whiteface is expected to open for the 2016-’17 skiing and riding season on Friday, Nov. 25. Earlier this fall, more than 7,000 SKI Magazine readers tabbed Whiteface the number-two ski resort in the entire eastern United States.  The annual poll also named Whiteface Lake Placid number-one for Off-Hill activities, a run of 27 consecutive years.
