Office of General Services Acting Commissioner Jeanette Moy today announced that the following 6 businesses were recently certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

• The Brookside Plant Farm LLC, located in Walton, NY, is a forest nursery.
• Amerit Consulting Inc., located in San Diego, CA, is an employment placement agency.
• Aviate Enterprises Inc., located in McClellan, CA, supplies industrial and commercial equipment.
• MeritOak Capital LLC, located in West Palm Beach, FL, specializes in portfolio management services.
• CLAF Logistics LLC, located in White Plains, NY, provides transportation and logistics management services.
• The Cannabis Place LLC, located in Jersey City, NJ, is a cannabis dispensary.

The Division was created in May 2014 with the enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. There are 924 certified businesses. 

The Act promotes and encourages participation of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
