Insulation & Asbestos Workers Recruit Apprentices |

Buffalo, NY (August 21, 2019) - The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers, Local Union #4, will conduct a recruitment from September 17, 2019 through June 16, 2020 for two Insulation and Asbestos Worker apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Applications must be obtained in person at Local Union #4, 2484 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Applicants must apply in person, and no applications are to leave the premises. Completed applications must be received by no later than June 16, 2020. A $25.00 testing fee will be charged to each applicant. Please note, you may request that this fee be waived. Fee waivers will be approved upon showing verifiable proof of financial need. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner. Under state law, sponsors of programs cannot discriminate against applicants because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, or marital status.
