WHAT: New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation President & CEO Maureen A. Coleman will join Rochester Mayor Malik Evans and local leaders to celebrate $29 million in State funding awarded to the City for drinking water projects. This funding will help the City replace lead service lines and make improvements to the Hemlock Water Filtration Plant, protecting public health while keeping costs affordable for ratepayers.

INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY: President & CEO Coleman will be available to discuss the impact of EFC’s Water Infrastructure Improvement grant program and highlight Governor Hochul’s State of the State commitment to invest $3.75 billion in water infrastructure. Mayor Evans and Water Bureau representatives will be available to discuss the projects and the importance of grant funding for affordability.
