(April 5, 2016) --- The second annual Miracle on Ice Fantasy Camp is set to conclude tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6. Tournament play got underway today, Tuesday, and after four games on the Olympic Center’s Famed Herb Brooks Arena Ice, Team White is undefeated, at 2-0 and is in first place, followed by Team Gold (1-1-0) and Team Red (0-1-1), third. Team Blue (0-1-1) sits fourth.

Games begin at 9 a.m. tomorrow, in the very same arena where the U.S. men’s hockey team stunned the world, beating the former Soviet Union 4-3 en route to the improbable 1980 Olympic men’s ice hockey gold medal. The camp’s bronze medal game is slated for 2:30 p.m., while the gold medal game gets underway at 4:05 p.m.

During the Fantasy Camp, 60 “Campers” from as far away as Seattle, Wash. ranging in age from 28 to 68 years-old, have spent the entire time playing hockey, hanging out with and listening to stories told by 16 players from the famed 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team.

The 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team players taking part in the camp include Bill Baker, Neal Broten, Dave Christian, Mike Eruzione, John Harrington, Steve Janaszek, Mark Johnson, Rob McClanahan, Ken Morrow, Jack O’Callahan, Mark Pavlich, Mike Ramsey, Buzz Schneider, Dave Silk, Eric Strobel and Mark Wells. The squad’s assistant coach, Craig Patrick is also here.
