The New York Lottery today announced that two third prize winning tickets worth $50,000 for the January 9, 2023 Powerball® drawing were purchased in New York. The winning tickets each have four matching numbers and the Powerball.  

The third prize winning tickets were sold at Columbus Fuel Corp. in Mount Vernon and San Juda Tadeo Pharmacy on West 207th Street in Manhattan.  

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing held on January 9 are: 18-43-48-60-69 and the Powerball is 14. 

Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app. The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.

The jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is $360 milllion.
