Following New York’s weeklong celebration of Earth Day, State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Chief of Staff Julie Tighe will join state and local officials and community groups in an Arbor Day celebration. The event will include state forestry and community announcements and a ceremonial tree planting.

West Capitol Park, located in the center of downtown Albany, will serve as the backdrop for this event and Greenspire Linden tree planting.
