OGS Seeking Vendors of Kid-Centric Services, Events, Schools, and Attractions to Participate in This Event

New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Commissioner Jeanette Moy today announced that the popular Hannaford Kidz Expo will make its return as a live, in-person, free event at the Empire State Place Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 4.

“We are looking forward to a day full of wonderful entertainment, activities, and exciting educational experiences for kids of all ages when the Hannaford Kidz Expo makes its return to the Empire State Plaza on March 4,” Commissioner Moy said. “I want to thank our generous title sponsor, Hannaford Supermarkets, for their continued support of this free, family-friendly event. I would also like to encourage vendors specializing in children’s activities and services to fill out an OGS application to participate in this year’s Kidz Expo.”

“Hannaford is thrilled to once again partner with the New York State Office of General Services as the Kidz Expo returns to the Empire State Plaza,” said Hannaford Supermarkets External Communications Manager Caitlin Cortelyou. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to learn about the array of activities available to enrich their children’s wellness and development. We look forward to seeing kids of all ages for a day of free family fun at the Empire State Plaza this March.”

This year’s Kidz Expo will feature a special Disney sing-along with The Little Mermen.

The Little Mermen, a Disney cover band, was founded by singer-songwriter Alexis Babini with the goal of bringing Disney-fueled nostalgia and sing-alongs to a generation that grew up on Disney, and never let it go. The Little Mermen play all the Disney hits, from “The Jungle Book” to “The Lion King” and even “Frozen.” Alongside Alexis, you’ll find a cast of talented musicians and Disney princesses ready to rock their hearts out - and yours!

Jam-packed with fun performances, rides, games, educational experiences, and activities that kids will love, the Hannaford Kidz Expo is also an event where families will find information on all of their favorite kid-centric vendors in one convenient location, including summer camps, health care, sports clubs, photographers, schools, dance studios, and amusement parts, just to name a few.

OGS is now accepting applications from qualified vendors interested in participating in the Kidz Expo.
