ADVISORY: MTA to Announce Track Replacement Work at End of E Line in Queens Trending Ahead of Schedule

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will announce that track replacement work at end of e line will finish early, allowing additional projects to be bundled into available construction time.

An opportunity to visit the construction site and see the work will follow the news conference. Media wishing to access the construction area on the platform must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), which includes boots that must be brought to the event. Additional PPE, including vests, goggles and hardhats, will be made available at the station.

TODAY, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m.
 
WHERE: 

Sutphin Blvd - Archer Av - JFK Airport subway station, QUEENS 
 
Adjacent to booth N605 – enter from corner of Sutphin Blvd and Archer Av 
 
NOTE: e trains are not currently operating to this station. j trains are operating to this station and the LIRR Jamaica station is adjacent to the work site.
