Upper Level of the Henry Hudson Bridge Closed Sunday Morning for NYC Triathlon

MTA Bridges and Tunnels is advising motorists that the Bronx-bound upper level of the Henry Hudson Bridge will be closed to all traffic this Sunday, July 24, between 4 a.m. and approximately 1 p.m. to accommodate the cycling portion of the annual NYC Triathlon, a city-permitted event.

Beginning at 4 a.m., the NYPD will close the northbound Henry Hudson Parkway and all entrances and exits from West 56 St in Manhattan through Mosholu Parkway in the Bronx.

Motorists should use an alternate route during this period and expect delays. All southbound lanes of the bridge into Manhattan will remain open throughout the event.

Customers can sign up for MTA e-mail or text alerts at www.mymtaalerts.com for more information.
