ADVISORY: Graduation for MTA PD Canine Unit

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Police Department is holding a graduation for canines that have completed the Explosive Detection and Mass Transit Anti-Terrorism Course.  Media will have the opportunity to interview officers and their canines after the end of the ceremony.

WHEN:  Friday, Feb. 7 – 10 a.m. (Media should arrive by 9:45 a.m.)

WHERE:  Grand Central Terminal, Vanderbilt Hall East, 89 East 42nd Street

MTAPD Capt. John Kerwick, Commanding Officer, Special Operations Division

6 Canine members of the Class of 2020 – including German Shepherds and Shepherd Mixes
