New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Executive Deputy Commissioner, Ken Lynch, will be joined by DEC’s Regional Director Judy Drabicki and other regional natural resource and wildlife staff to launch a new statewide recreational initiative increasing access to the state’s vast natural resources and promoting low-cost opportunities to explore the great outdoors. As part of the event, DEC will reveal recent improvements at the Utica Marsh Wildlife Management Area and new upgrades that will be coming to the area.
