New York Lottery Announces Winning TAKE 5 Ticket Sold in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The New York Lottery today announced a top prize winning ticket for the August 15 TAKE 5 drawing was sold at the Wegmans at 3740 McKinley Parkway South in Buffalo. The ticket is worth $71,990.50.

 

This is the third top prize winning TAKE 5 ticket sold in the Buffalo area in the past several weeks. For the July 21 TAKE 5 drawing, a top prize winning ticket worth $60,017.50 was sold at the Citgo station at 5341 Broadway in Lancaster. For the July 11 TAKE 5 drawing, a top prize winning ticket worth $36,047 was sold at the Noco Express Shop at 6233 South Transit Road in Lockport.

In addition to the $71,990.50 top prize for the August 15 TAKE 5 drawing, which was won by matching five out of five numbers, 301 players each purchased $358.50 winning tickets by matching four out of five numbers for the drawing. In total, there were 108,489 TAKE 5 winners for the August 15 drawing.

 

The winning numbers for the August 15 TAKE 5 drawing were 07-09-11-27-34.

 

The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket, to check their tickets again, as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.

 

The winners may claim the tickets at any one of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Buffalo office at 165 Genesee Street, Buffalo, NY 14203 or at Hamburg Gaming at the Fairgrounds at 5820 South Park Avenue, Hamburg, NY 14075.
