DEC AND LAND TRUST ALLIANCE TO MAKE ANNOUNCEMENT

New York State’s weeklong celebration of Earth Week continues Thursday, April 25, with an announcement in Buffalo by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), elected officials, and the Land Trust Alliance in celebration of New York's commitment to protecting our environment, conserving open space, and increasing access to the state's vast and magnificent natural resources.

Photo opportunity: Following the announcement, there will be a photo op site visit (directly adjacent to event site) at the DL&W rail corridor connecting Buffalo’s downtown with its waterfront through three distinct and historic neighborhoods: Includes an optional short hike.
