Electricians Recruit Apprentice |

Hauppauge, NY (February 9, 2021) – The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for the Electrical Industry of Nassau and Suffolk Counties will conduct a recruitment from April 7, 2021 through September 15, 2021 for 38 Electrician apprentices, and two Electrical Maintenance Technician apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Applications must be filled out, in person only, at JATC for the Electrical Industry of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, 370 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Applications must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on September 15, 2021. In order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 during the application process each applicant MUST wear an appropriate face covering and respect & maintain a proper social distance while standing in line, both inside and outside the building, as well as while completing the actual application for apprenticeship. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner.
