29 Co-Workers at Hornell Railcar Production Plant Win $1,000,000 Powerball Prize

Shop workers from Alfred Station, Almond, Angelica, Andover, Arkport, Bath, Canaseraga, Canisteo, Greenwood, Hornell, Scio, Wellsville and Woodhull among the “Lucky 29”

 

HORNELL, NY – The New York Lottery will present an over-sized prize check to the 29 members of a work-based Powerball pool who matched the first five numbers in the May 27 multi-state drawing. The check presentation will take place at the facility where the co-workers produce rail cars for some of the largest mass transit systems in the U.S.

New York Lottery’s Gretchen Dizer will present a ceremonial prize check to a group of 29 co-workers who won a $1,000,000 Powerball prize.
