State and Local Officials To Host a Roundtable on Addressing Poverty in Watertown |

ALBANY –Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance Commissioner Samuel D. Roberts and representatives from New York State Homes and Community Renewal and Governor Cuomo’s Interagency Nonprofit Coordination Team will host a roundtable on addressing poverty in Watertown. They will also offer a presentation on the New York State Grants Gateway Portal and how not-for-profit organizations can apply for state funding. Members of the press are invited to attend. WHO: Commissioner of the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance Samuel D. Roberts Representatives from Homes and Community Renewal Representatives from Governor Cuomo’s Interagency Nonprofit Coordination Team WHAT: The city of Watertown has been selected to take part in Governor Cuomo’s Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative (ESPRI), a coordinated, multifaceted approach to addressing poverty in New York communities. We will provide an update on the progress of the ESPRI and will be discussing current and upcoming programs to benefit the city’s residents. We will offer a presentation on the New York State Grants Gateway Portal and how not-for-profit organizations involved in the poverty initiative can apply for state funding.
