WILMINGTON, N.Y. --- Another two inches of snow fell overnight on Whiteface Mountain, in Wilmington, N.Y. That means that in the last seven days, more than nine inches of fresh powder has landed on the Olympic mountain.

Nine lifts, servicing 40 trails, including the summit are open today for skiing and riding. Conditions are packed powder with an average base depth of 33-inches and snowmaking continues even on Upper Skyward and Niagara.

Don’t forget that First Tracks continues through New Year’s Day. Take the morning’s first run with a Whiteface guide well before the lifts open. First Tracks is limited to 14 skiers and riders, who are of intermediate and above skill level. To register, simply email ski@whiteface.com.
