ADVISORY: Subway Day Celebrates 115th Anniversary of the New York City Transit System

Lo-V Vintage Train Rides Available Along Original IRT Line


Take a Lo-V vintage train ride with the public along the original IRT line and talk to resident transit experts about the history of the 115-year-old system. The trains will run from Times Sq-42 St to 96th St and back. Unique, historic photo digital displays will be featured at original IRT stations, and the New York Transit Museum will have special hours and exhibits.

WHEN:
      Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019 at 12 p.m. for interviews with resident train experts. First vintage Lo-V ride leaves at 12:30 p.m.
