ADVISORY: Trains and Buses to #SoundTheHorn at 3 p.m. Today

All NYC Subways, Buses, LIRR and Metro-North Trains and MTA Bridges and Tunnels Maintenance Vehicles Participating in Honor of Transportation Workers

As a reminder, all MTA trains and buses will sound their horns at 3:00 p.m. with two one-second toots in honor of the heroic transportation employees who are continuing to provide service throughout the pandemic. Between the MTA and partner agencies, some 4,400 vehicles are expected to participate throughout the New York region.  The campaign is being promoted on social media with the #SoundTheHorn hashtag. 

WHEN:   Today, Thursday, April 16, 2020 – 3:00:00 p.m.

WHERE:  Wherever trains or buses are located as the clock strikes 3:00:00 p.m.
