***Media Advisory***Reduced Hours in Effect at Minnewaska State Park Preserve the Weekend |

(Kerhonkson, NY) Due to night construction on the Minnewaska State Park Preserve entrance road, the facility will close early on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4. The main entrance will be closed at 4PM and all visitors must be out of the park by 6PM. Gertrude's Nose Trail and Scenic Trail will be closed Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4. Roadside parking is prohibited and will be strictly enforced. Vehicles will be Towed The Palisades Interstate Park Commission administers 28 parks, parkways, and historic sites for the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation in New York as well as the Palisades Interstate Park and parkway in New Jersey.
