ALBANY, N.Y. – Two New York Lottery players won top prizes of more than $33,000 each from the Labor Day weekend TAKE 5 drawings. A top prize winning ticket of $36,804.50 for the Friday, August 29 TAKE 5 drawing was sold at Village Mobil at 88 Wolf Road in Colonie. The next day, another top prize winning ticket of $33,173.50 for the August 30 TAKE 5 drawing was sold at Coulson’s Variety News at 594 New Loudon Road in Latham.
In addition to the top prizes for the August 29 and August 30 TAKE 5 drawings, which were won by matching five out of five numbers, 266 players each purchased $415 winning tickets for the August 29 drawing, and 486 players each purchased $204.50 winning tickets for the August 30 drawing. In total, there were 191,052 TAKE 5 winners for both drawings.
The winning numbers for the August 29 TAKE 5 drawing were 01-10-16-17-21. The winning numbers for the August 30 TAKE 5 drawing were 16-21-23-24-25.
The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket, to check their tickets again, as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.
The winners may claim the tickets at any one of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Schenectady office at One Broadway Center, Schenectady, NY 12305 or at Saratoga Casino & Raceway, 342 Jefferson Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
