Ask Public for Help Apprehending Suspect

The MTA Police Department has issued a descriptive flier of a man wanted for two robberies   at the Grand Central Terminal Rite that occurred on August 28 and October 12 and asks for the public’s help identifying the suspect.

On Monday, August 28, at 12:10 p.m., the male suspect, approximately 30-35 years old and between 5’ 6 “- 5’ 9,” stole merchandise from the Rite Aid at Grand Central Terminal. When confronted by store security, the suspect brandished a hammer, threatened the security agent with it, and then fled the scene.   On Thursday, October 12, it’s believed the suspected returned to the store and stole merchandise a second time, and slashed the neck of the store security agent who attempted to apprehend him.  The suspect carried a distinctive knapsack with the “Tahl Propp” insignia on it.

Anyone with information about this robbery suspect is asked to contact the MTA Police at: 212-340-2505, and reference: case #17-17187
