Celebrate Easter at Whiteface

It’s a Retro Super Sunday

WILMINGTON, N.Y. --- The winter season is beginning to wind down, but there’s still some great skiing and riding remaining at Whiteface Mountain, in Wilmington, N.Y.  Celebrate Easter at the Olympic Mountain during this season’s final Super Sunday. It’s Retro Super Sunday, so ski and ride all day for just $48 for adults, $42 for teens and $35 for juniors when purchased in advance, online, at www.whitefacelakeplacid.com.

Easter Sunday begins atop Little Whiteface with a non-denominational service at 8 a.m. The Cloudsplitter Gondola will begin taking passengers to the summit at 7:15 a.m. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held in the base lodge’s Ausable Room.

Following the service, you’re invited to an Easter Buffet in the J. Lohr Wine Bar and Café, where the menu will include ham, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruit, pastries and more. The price is just $15.95 for adults, while kids 12 and under can dine for only $8.95.

At 11 a.m. children six and under can search for the more than 2,000 Easter Eggs hidden on the Mixing Bowl Trail. Ages 7 – 12 will be on Bear starting at 11:30 a.m.

Finally, be sure to grab your 2015-’16 SKI3 pass for Whiteface Mountain, in Wilmington, N.Y., Gore Mountain, in North Creek, N.Y., and Belleayre Ski Resort, in Highmount, N.Y.

The SKI3 pass is available through April 24 for just $759 for adults and seniors, $399 for young adults and college students and only $299 for juniors. Plus skiers and riders, who are 70 and older, can purchase the pass for only $210.
