ADVISORY: MTA Officials to Participate in Blue Line Painting Ceremony Ahead of New York City Marathon

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) New York City Transit (NYCT) President Richard Davey and MTA Construction & Development President Jamie Torres-Springer will join the New York Road Runners (NYRR) to participate in a blue line painting ceremony ahead of this year’s TCS New York City Marathon. They will help paint the last few yards of the blue line that runs from Staten Island through all five boroughs, covering the entire 26.2-mile route that runners will follow on Sunday. 

Following the event, there will be Q&A with President Torres-Springer, who will run in the marathon, and President Davey.
