Statement from Office of General Services Commissioner Jeanette M. Moy on Governor Hochul's 2025 State of the State Proposals

“In her State of the State address, Governor Hochul laid out an ambitious set of goals for the upcoming year, and the Office of General Services is ready, willing, and eager to join the Governor in creating a government that is more efficient, proactive, innovative and, most importantly, guided by the needs of New Yorkers,” New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Commissioner Moy said. “Governor Hochul reminded us that she will never stop fighting for the people of New York, and OGS will serve a critical role in advancing the Governor’s bold plans to make our government customer-focused and accessible and revitalize New York State’s capital city, Albany. OGS will implement effective sustainability and waste management practices at state facilities, expand MWBE participation in state contracting, utilize alternative infrastructure project delivery approaches to give agencies increased flexibility, and improve the tracking and transparency of state assets and capital projects.”
