LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR KATHY HOCHUL AND DEC TO MAKE ANNOUNCEMENT

New York State’s weeklong celebration of Earth Week continues Thursday, April 25, with an announcement in Buffalo by Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Chief of Staff Sean Mahar, and federal and state elected officials. In celebration of New York's commitment and accomplishments to protecting our environment, conserving open space, and increasing access to the state's vast and magnificent natural resources.

 

Photo opportunity: Following the announcement, there will be a photo op site visit (directly adjacent to event site) at the DL&W rail corridor connecting Buffalo’s downtown with its waterfront through three distinct and historic neighborhoods: Includes an optional short hike.
