 NEW YORK STATE CLEAN WATER FUNDING ANNOUNCEMENT

WHAT: New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation President & CEO Maureen A. Coleman will make a clean water funding announcement building on the success of the State’s Clean Vessel Assistance Program.

  • Strengthening waterfront communities: Supports marinas, municipalities, and eligible organizations in improving facilities that promote responsible boating and cleaner waterways.
  • Improving water quality: Helps protect New York's bays, harbors, lakes, and coastal waters by supporting the waterfront infrastructure that reduces pollution.
  • Continued investment: New York has invested $14 million to projects statewide since the program’s inception, supporting one of the nation's most extensive recreational boating pumpout networks.
