Buses Replace Trains between Oyster Bay & Locust Valley on Sunday, August 28 from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. for Annual Oyster Bay Triathlon

 

Bus service will replace two westbound trains and one eastbound train between Oyster Bay and Locust Valley on Sunday, August 28 from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. to accommodate the athletes and spectators at the annual Oyster Bay Triathlon.

 

Westbound

Customers who normally take the 8:19 a.m. or the 10:19 a.m. trains from Oyster Bay will instead board a bus for service to Locust Valley through Mineola, where they will transfer for connecting train service west. They should anticipate up to 11 minutes of extra travel time.

 

Eastbound

Customers who normally take the 8:25 a.m. train from Penn Station will transfer at Locust Valley for bus service to Oyster Bay Station. They should anticipate up to 15 minutes of additional travel time.
