OGS and M&T Bank Lunchtime at the Plaza Concert Series Veterans Appreciation Day Moved Indoors at the Empire State Plaza 

Wednesday, July 31 Event Moved to Rain Location at the South End of the Plaza’s Concourse 

What: OGS and M&T Bank will host Veterans Appreciation Day at the Empire State Plaza as part of the free Lunchtime at the Plaza Concert Series Presented by M&T Bank. The event will honor the immense sacrifices and vast contributions of our nation’s veterans and active-duty service members and encourage veteran hiring and support veteran-owned businesses.  

Held in conjunction with the Empire State Plaza Farmers Market, the event will include a live performance by classic rock band Gone Gray Band and booths hosting Veterans for Peace Albany, the New York State Division of Veterans Services, and the Albany Housing Coalition. 

M&T Bank will provide lunch for veterans and active-duty members of the military with I.D. who attend Wednesday’s event, offering $10 vouchers for food from select vendors set up at Empire State Plaza. The vouchers will be distributed at M&T’s table on-site.  

When: 11:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31 

Where: Due to the forecast for inclement weather, this event has been moved indoors to the south end of the Empire State Plaza Concourse.
