(FEBRUARY 11, 2016) --- Before the Harlem Globetrotters delight their fans with their high flying, rim rattling dunks and family fun, Wednesday night, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m., in the Lake Placid Olympic Center, the team will fulfill the dream of Gracee Jewtraw, of Saranac Lake, N.Y., who is battling cancer. For the past year, the Petrova Elementary School fourth grade student, who is a huge basketball fan, has been battling an aggressive form of brain cancer and has been in remission, but recently a new and different form of cancer was discovered.

Wednesday night, before the game, the Globetrotters team will roll out the Red Carpet for Gracee and her family. She will be presented an official Harlem Globetrotters’ game jersey and she and her brother, Noah, will watch the game from the team’s bench. In addition, she and her family will each receive tickets to the game, have the opportunity to meet every one of the players before they take to the court during their 90^th Anniversary World Tour stop.
