State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey will welcome the community for the grand opening of Hallock State Park Preserve and highlight the park creation. The new recreational opportunities are all part of Governor Cuomo’s NY Parks 2020 initiative to revitalize the state park system and expand outdoor recreation.

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation oversees more than 250 parks, historic sites, recreational trails, golf courses, boat launches and more, which are visited by 69 million people annually.
