Ten Companies Receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following ten businesses have recently been certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

  • Yanamic Enterprises Inc., located in Brooklyn, NY, provides landscaping services.
  • Phoenix Marketing Inc., located in Hamburg, NY, specializes in apparel and promotional products.
  • Little Jimmy’s Entertainment Inc., located in Syracuse, NY, installs and services ATM machines.
  • Horvatis Corporation, located in Amherst, NY, specializes in geospatial information science.
  • Disabled Veteran Solutions, located in Erie, PA, provides business and customer relationship management services.
  • JSEH Construction Management, located in Hicksville, NY, is a construction management and safety consultant.
  • Government Content, located in New York, NY, specializes in marketing and advertising.
  • Shamrock Portable Restrooms LLC, located in Syracuse, NY, provides portable restroom rentals.
  • Strategic Supply Chain Services LLC, located in Freeport, NY, specializes in business development and logistics.
  • Bancroft Capital LLC, located in Fort Washington, PA, provides broker-dealer services.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May, 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. As of August 9, 2018, a total of 521 businesses have been certified.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
