Thirteen Companies Receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

The Office of General Services Commissioner today announced that the following thirteen businesses have recently been certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

  • Precision Systems Mfg. Inc., located in Liverpool, NY, manufactures plate and sheet metal work.
  • Newland Systems LLC, located in Rochester, NY, provides installation and service to fire alarms and computer systems.
  • Makdad Industrial Supply Company Inc., located in Altoona, PA, distributes HVAC supplies.
  • GEM Manufacturing Inc., located in Rochester, NY, is a light manufacturing industry.
  • SDVOSB Materials, Technology & Supply LLC, located in Brooklyn, NY, supplies medical and construction equipment.
  • Ameriphysics LLC, located in Knoxville, TN, is a radiological and environmental waste consultant.
  • Front Line Consulting LLC, located in New York, NY, specializes in general construction.
  • Precision Metals Corp., located in Bay Shore, NY, supplies parts, sheet metal, and machining services.
  • SS Elder In-Home Care Inc., located in Jamaica, NY, provides home health aides.
  • Normel Tech LLC, located in Buffalo, NY, specializes in HIPPA consultations.
  • Longtail Systems LLC, located in Brockport, NY, is a consultant that provides systems and data integration.
  • C3i LLC, located in Buffalo, NY, provides specialized technical support services.
  • Todd Alan Torrance d/b/a Zero Point Aerial and Zero Point Audio, located in Syracuse, NY, specializes in aerial photography.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May, 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. As of January 12, 2018, a total of 419 businesses have been certified.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
