LAKE PLACID, N.Y. --- Stella has packed plenty of POW-der, leaving several inches to several feet of snow, stretching from New York State’s Adirondacks to the Catskills. This nor’easter could not have come at a better time for ski resorts throughout the northeast to include Belleayre Ski Resort, in Highmount, N.Y., Gore Mountain, in North Creek, N.Y., and Whiteface Mountain, in Wilmington, N.Y.

Belleayre Ski Resort has reported 32+ inches of snowfall to date, while Gore has checked in with 24+ inches. As for Whiteface Mountain, the resort is reporting 40+ inches. The forecast calls for continued snowfall snow fall today.
